EverStrive Solutions is a full-service public sector consulting firm built by people who have done the work. We partner with local governments, state governments, nonprofits, regional councils, and other mission-driven teams to navigate complex challenges and move priorities forward.
Our team brings firsthand experience in city management, public administration, and organizational leadership. We understand how decisions actually get made across communities, organizations, boards, and staff, and we design our work to reflect that reality.

MEREDITH HAUCK
CEO + CO-FOUNDER
Meredith is a skilled public sector executive who has spent most of her career in local government in the Kansas City region as an assistant City Administrator with a focus on internal services, community relations, and special projects. Meredith started her own consulting firm in 2021 and has been working with organizations across the country since then as a strategic consultant, facilitator, and executive coach, as well as serving in numerous interim roles. Meredith is known for her ability to get up to speed quickly; her thorough, direct, and innovative approach to the work; and her deep understanding of how to navigate public sector, community, and team dynamics.
Lauren PALMER
COO + CO-FOUNDER
Lauren has held executive local government roles in four municipalities in three states including city administrator and assistant city manager. She previously served as the director of local government services for the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC), the regional council of governments serving 119 cities and nine counties in the greater Kansas City area. Lauren oversaw MARC’s work in emergency services, public safety communications, housing, and other shared services. Lauren is an ICMA Credentialed Manager who has a strong reputation for getting to the heart of the matter, maintaining a high level of productivity across diverse service lines, and developing talent so teams can achieve their best.
PATTY GENTRUP
SENIOR CONSULTANT
Patty brings more than 25 years of experience helping communities and public service organizations navigate change, build consensus, and move priorities forward. She has served as a city administrator, consultant, and university leader, with experience spanning local government, entrepreneurship, and community development. Patty’s work has focused on strategic planning, facilitation, organizational development, executive leadership, and community engagement. She is known for her thoughtful, collaborative approach, her ability to bring people together around shared goals, and her commitment to developing practical strategies that strengthen organizations and the communities they serve.
